Mapping Ireland's Moths
 
Provisional distribution maps for 500 macro-moth species are available for viewing.

 These were updated in November 2007 and can be accessed by clicking image to left or from Species list link above.
Some maps have been updated in June 2008, mainly scarce or rare species and some of the more common Spring species
 
Future plans for website are the uploading of photographs. Work continues with entering records.
Details of how to contribute records and for inclusion in database are in January 2007 newsletter.

Launched early 2008 by Philip Strickland. A photographic guide to the larger moths of Ireland.
Philip has many years experience recording moths around Ireland and his records are included in the MothsIreland dataset.
