1887 Clouded Border Lomaspilis marginata

Brief Description: A common, small, pied, butterfly-like moth which has a distinctive blackish border with some similar coloured patches, in which there is considerable variation. Its larvae feed on a variety of trees and shrubs throughout an array of habitats.

Confusion Species: None

Comments: Often very common at light and easily disturbed by light beating.
